i followed the instructions in akira's blog to download application for my iphone.
and i downloaded compass, as i wonder how it works since there's no magnet.
when i on the application, there's a cross with N,S,E,W and a white bar pointing at SES. i started turning the phone around and it didn't move, so i clicked on the "i" for help.
"put your iphone in a horizontal position under the sunlight. point your finger at the right angle to the centre of the compass in the screen. then turn your iphone horizontally as the shadow of your finger overlpas the shadow in the screen. now the "N" on the screen indicates north."
