went back to bmt in tekong for pes C recourse, in D coy.
quite relax compare to the REC days, get fuck every min.
and anthony is a sergent in C coy, just next to mine. he loves to takan his REC. amen..

seragoon tournament 04/04/09
nothing to blog again, or should i say i can't blog some of the stuff.
anyway, i'll just blog about the tournament yesterday.
deck used:breast beast synchro (what else can it be)
format: double elimination

1st match: plant [OO]
otk him for both rounds, nothing much to talk about.

2nd match: babaros skill drain control [OO]
round 1- controlled after airbellum drop hand followed by arcanite clear board.
round 2- otk ftw... (having some luck with otk? lol)

3rd match: lightlord [OXO]
round 1- i must say, his lightlord luck is not bad... lol. can't remember much. N.S. black panther copy judgement dragon is so skill-less.
round 2- he covered raikou, then flip and drop wolf. followed by covering another raikou then flip and drop wolf again. lol. big card advantage and board presense. i've no choice but to force a black rose by monster reborn his 4 stars monster in grave and summon my airbellum. but he still have 6 hands, while i've 4. and his draw phrase made his 7. i slowly came back later in the game, but just die to judgement.
round3- i control him from the beginning to the end, his gardnas helped him to block my airbellum, but didn't changed much. i ignored the chance to otk ftw, but rather jus stardust with an arcanite mag def mode and a bottomless traphole behind. and he has no hand, no field. so even top deck judgement dragon also won't help. and yes.. a sign confidence with a mixture of complacency. btw.. he really drew judgement dragon.

4th match (winner bracket final): black feather [XOX]
round 1- i've been taking quite alot of damage from the beginning, and i turn the table with spy and cat. and golden box for pot of avarice. can't remember much, but both of us have no field, and he has no hand. i drew pot of avarice and get my 2nd piece from the golden box 2 turns ago. Zzz.. i used pot, with a strong feeling i'm winning it. and i drew cyber dragon and tragoedia. and with another beautiful pot in my hand, not to forget i just had 1500HP left. he jus top deck a azure and ended round 1.
round 2- predicted everything right, use mind control to force icarus attack, and controlled the game. end it with some a few synchro otk.
round 3- this is quite fuck up. he chose to go first, so he covered a m/t and summon azure then end turn. i cover GK guard and DDV. during his draw phrase, "ok! i won!" thats what he said. he started to summon and then s.summon some BF followed by synchro. and my DDV get countered by solemn judgement. and yes, he played as if i surely have no gorz or tragoedia. dead... fall to the loser bracket.

loser bracket final: beast synchro [OXO]
round 1- kinda interesting mirror, because she plays royal palace and enemy controller. won the 1st game after i stole the tempo over, can't really remember much.
round 2- after both of our resources have been drained, i top deck rescue cat. lol... just when i thought my top deck own me the game, she top deck DAD. amen...
round 3- threatening roar to steal tempo then otk ftw.

round 1- controlled and won. as old line "i can't really remember."
round 2- i play as if i', playing gravekeeper's deck. lol... guard in grave and 3x spy on field. i slowly milk his cards away with book of moon and win with stardust after i used DDV. wan xin later pointed out that i could have otk him earlier with just coldwave and summon gale and sycnhro for dark dive, end with all the spy to attack. but i think i've phobia for tragoedia which i know it sounds silly when u play against BF.

round 1- he seems quite stressed after he lost his 1st credit. lol. 2x solemn with dark emperor target my spy, and he ended with a DAD.
round 2- this is the most fuck up hand i've drawn ever i play this deck. des koala, sea koala, black panther, raikou and GK guard. wtf... all the rescue cat component is in my hand. even if i use rescue cat, i only can s.summon 2x airbellum. but somehow i milk his cards 1 by 1, he had armored wing and azure while i've a set GK guard. i bounced armored wing after his azure attacked by guard. i used coldwave on the next turn even though had nothing at the backrow, and had 1 azure on field. i summoned gale and used effect on azure and synchro with guard for goyou and stole azure over. set a raikou and end turn. plan to flip raikou and target his monster then once per turn to end the round on the next turn. he had 2 cards in hand, 1 is moonlight. so he drew, and his hand size is 3. he summon moon light, attack azure on field. crow a monster in my grave and s.summon DAD. sad. he either top deck crow or DAD. i later drew rescue cat, but like i said, there'll only be airbellum. there goes the chance to fan pan.

the rest are BF and some unknowns
i met almost each of every deck, lost to the same BF twice. seems like BF with solemn is the tougher compared to other BF for beast synchro, and i shall look for sam to play with me since he uses solemn too.
anyway... the shop sucks simply because there's not enough air circulation. i was sick and the still air just made me vomit 3 times during the tournament. (in the washroom not in the shop) everyone is complaining. but the shopkeeper seems nice, and offered me panadol which i rejected.
oh yeah, i forget to mention the other beast synchro user is the shopkeeper's daughter, who looks like 13-14 but in fact 19. lol...
but the talking point is that, i was KIANG! and reject to share prize. before the loser bracket final is played, the person in the winner bracket offered to share prize among 3 of us. the other agreed, and i REJECTED.... they were so enthu to share prize and wanna force me into it. and jeremy had to explain to them how the double elimination works and also why they can't share because i reject. baha's quote was in my mind at that time "shut up and play, boy!" i really don't know why they've 3 credits and don't have confidence to win and rather wanna share prize.
3 reasons why i rejected the offer:
1. $5 admission and share 1 box among 3 people don't seem worthy.
2. victory -> 1st place
3. own the BF with 2 credits who knocked me to loser bracket.
but it proved 1 credit vs 3 credits is not easy (both of them are friends and will share no matter what) the fact that i rejected to share, it made me the enemy of all the local players. and the few di di from khatib were cheering for me. lol!? "max, you must win!"
went to yishun to have dinner with akira and mog after that.
