isolation

i went to nuh in the morning for my physio, and she is still attractive. =)
i informed my ps last night that i'll walk in to see a doc for my rashes on my upper body as well, i had it for days. itchy~ and bloody after i scratched.

the nurse at the screening just went O_O when she saw my rashes (i wore a buttoned shirt as i know i'll have to show my upper body), and she brought me to isolation corner to register then told me to put on the mask. i was shocked, as i didn't expect it to be a 'big thing', probably just walk out with some medication cream after a long wait.

i was isolated in a small room by myself after walked through a few doors, and told to wait for the doc. i can't remember how long had i wait for the doc, while i hunted some monster on my psp. i just took off my shirt and she examined my rashes before asking some questions. e.g. how long did i have this, where did i go, did i eat anything unusual. i told her i was out for range 3 days ago, and she suspected that to be the case, although i told her we didn't exactly went to a forest though. she told me this may be "i forget wtf was the long name", and she told me to stay in the isolated room. i waited for another period of time, the nurse walked in with a 1-day mc, specialist referal with appt time, a slip for the pharmacy.

so...
i'm going to see a specialist on 15 oct. and it's now 31 july? lol... i know i've to queue, but probably my rashes are gone by then (hopefully)

another movie

booked out in the afternoon today after dismount and gonna book in tmr morning.
320 days to ORD!

i went to yishun to pick up some cards then meet up with brainy and apple for movie, the x file: i want to believe.i like mystery movie. =)


we were discussing with brainy about going to aust for study, and all of us went home after dinner in mos burger.

zhang xiang just came to my platoon, what a coincidence! i know him from weiqi, he's a 6 dan in singapore, came from china during primary 4. sold to singapore like i did... sigh*

i just watched him play weiqi online tournament with zhou xiang, who i also know him. from china as well. both are really good weiqi players, and zhou xiang is a good warcraft player too, his race is orc! he's quite hardcore for both, i think my weiqi winning chance is 0%, warcraft is 45%. with him training everyday, and me in bloody ns, i think i can hardly win him now. quote from replays.net, "参军流 is imba!"

i can now train weiqi with zhang xiang when we're in camp. lol.. =)

WE.Sky misses WCG2008

i just book out, and check for wcg china final qualifier.
WE.Sky didn't qualify the group after he lost to WE.Ted and WE.infi.

i can't imagine a WCG without sky, it feels like a fifa world cup without brazil. -_-
but this also proves that china's warcraft is so strong that even sky isn't guaranteed to qualify, with world top players like sky, infi, ted, th000, fly100%, xiaot. reminds me of moon, since he didn't qualify for wcg when he was expected to.

meet up with lixin, her sister, and her cousin to watch red cliff in causeway point. i never thought i'll go out with the 3 of them together, quite... weird and funny.
another great movie by john woo, the cast is great too.
i like it alot, can't wait for the next movie.

watched batman: the dark knight in amk hub with kelvin and co. i had high expectation for this movie, and luckily it didn't disappoint me.
but i feel that the joker can be improved. first, a introduction of how joker came about will be good. second, i think the make up can be better. third, the joker is not crazy enough. i know it sounds weird, but yes, i think he can be more insane. through out the movie, i was thinking from joker's view, and i can think of more crazy thing. maybe i can be a good criminal, or at least a sadist one.

i like the part when he tells batman the 2 addresses for him to choose who should he save, rachel or harvey, and joker actually swop the address over. and this leads to batman was heading to harvey dent, when he actually chose rachel. and i was wondering, did he do it on purpose? or is he just too crazy and mix them up by accident.

joined the weekly tournament in tampines today, and mog won the jap dark bride. $$$
the match vs "the malay guy" in the top 4 game (not racist here, but he's the only malay there and i don't know his name) is one of the most "perfect lost" i ever had, exclude OTK and FTK.

round 1:
he plays destiny trade in ladd monarch deck (quite a long name, lol)
i win after i control the board and tempo, nothing worth mentioning.

round 2:
he chose to start first after he lost the 1st round, he destiny draw (drop malicius), trade in (drop bloo-d). summon armageddron knight and drop mobc from deck, monster reborn it and take back monster reborn. use malicius effect in grave to s.summon another copy from deck. then cover 2 cards and end.
i drew and said "ddv?" since his malicius is there for that obvious reason, so he just activate it before i do anything (i assume he did it in draw phrase). i dropped my DAD, dark emperor and cyber dragon. left coldwave, emergency tele and critter is the other card. then i look at his field, mobc + armageddron knight + 1 covered card + 3 hands. GG.. lol.
i used coldwave, and he passed. i just tele for my psycho commander and synchro with critter (search banisher) for goyou guardian to attack his armageddron knight, revive it and drop gardna in grave from deck. end turn.
he used lightning vortex, then monster reborn my goyou. attack me with goyou and mobc. i used my gardna effect on goyou. he covered another card and end.
i drew something which i forget wtf is that but it get killed by ddv. i cover banisher and end, and hope to drag to 'fan pan'.
he attacked it and then use brainwash to destroy it. he ends turn.
and i destiny draw DDV. died... (imagine, he didn't brainwash)

round 3:
he just uses DDV again and i drop quite a number, then i dropped every card i drew as well by DDV. then he activated DDDV when DDV's effect is over and now i drew all the smaller guys. totally fuckzored~ one sided game...

driving license

yup, i've passed my driving test today, so happy to pass in first try!

i took afternoon leave for the test, and my csm gave me a 'little lecture'.

i went to jurong for lunch after book out, then SSDC for test and it's raining heavily. pass it smoothly and then things get troublesome...
1st, i've to watch the graduation video which reminds you to drive safely in lv3.
2nd, take a picture in lv1(instant passport photo machine) and i've to go around asking for coins. and i get $1 each from 6 pretty meimei (maybe jiejie) for my photo.
3rd, go to the office in lv3 to register and get your license. but it's close! ~_~" so i just register and wait for them to mail me the license. while they emphasize that i can't drive tonight as they've not key in my data, quite funny.
4th, go to another lv1 counter to make payment and get my 'cert'. $50~ ouch*
5th, go to information counter to get my P-plate (triangle plate) for another $10.70


this reminds me to drift drive safely.

i took leave yesterday fo li xin's birthday, "must give face" =D

in the end ys didn't turn up, because of weiqi tournament.
after dinner, all of lixin's friend wanna go home, but she doesn't.
so i accompany her, and end up playing in the arcade doing the usual thing --> throw basketball. everytime i go amk arcade, i see imbalance people play damn godly at the basketball machine. the accuracy and throwing speed are crazy.

i played in the yugioh tournament in yishun before i meet her, first tournament after i decided to pick up the game again.

the 3rd place first game is quite memorable.

he wins the dice roll (as usual T_T), he summons e-hero airman search malicious then set a magic or trap and done.
and i thought of the possible decks he is playing:
1. allure DAD
2. emperor
3. ladd

my starting hand:
armagedon knight, cyclone, DAD, emergency teleport, bottomless traphole.

so i thought of goyou and take his airman to search for my discguy.
my turn --> draw discguy -_-
god tells me not to do stunt...
but i don't care, i cyclone (tidal wave), then summon armagedon knight to put necro gardna in grave, then i use emergency teleport for clevonce to synchro for my goyou guardian. with 3 dark monster in grave, i s.summon DAD. so i get greedy and goyou for his airman and DAD direct attack. cover my bottomless traphole and done.

since he doesn't use destiny draw for his malicious last turn, i assume he doesn't have one and i'm right. his grave has only 1 tidal wave, so his chance of clearing my board is lightning vortex which i don't think he main deck it, brainwash DAD but he has no dark monster in grave to use effect. also can't attack my goyou after brainwash to do a 1 for 2 as i've gardna, and with bottomless traphole covered --> i win?

actual play: he brainwash my DAD, and then DD crow my gardna. (according to what jeff told me about the house rule is that gardna can't remove unless there's an attack declared)

i was shocked by the crow, never thought of that. brainwash + DD crow. he removed DD crow from grave to use DAD's effect on my goyou, and he tribute my DAD for his prime material dragon. O_O
now comes the another funny part, i remember its effect wrongly, so i use bottomless traphole and get negated by prime dragon. LOL.
and it attacked his airman on my field~
now i'm clear board with only a discguy in my hand -> dead..

CHI~! believe in your cards!
DESTINY DRAW~
early burial!
revived my goyou and steal his prime dragon.
and i win in next turn after attacked with both since prime dragon is like stardust on field with my disguy to discard.

i won the korean e-hero airman, though quite 'crap' but more than enough to cover admission fee. i want armshole!

yugioh metagame

OCG (japanese) metagame:
1. DAD beast synchro
the clear cut top deck is DAD (dark arm dragon) beast synchro, and statistic doesn't lie.
it took 1st, 2nd & 3rd place japan national (east), and then 2nd, 3rd & 4th in japan national (west). the deck is stable with lots of deck searching and combo, with no card advantage lost. sound imbalance?
key cards: rescue cat, x-saber, brionac dragon of ice boundary.

2. gladiator beast
with the new cards like chariot & GB gyzarus, this has became the deck to beat.
this deck usually runs with more than 10 traps, and can rush and control, a versatile deck. but the biggest weakness is that, all GB are blank cards unless you tag them out from deck.
key cards: hard to name, as it's a deck of its own. but bestiari and gyzarus sure top the list.

3. tele DAD
i'm playing this deck, basically use emergency teleport and psychic tuners to mix with DAD.
its main combo is coldwave (metagame card) then chain with teleport and synchro then s.summon DAD if you able. quite violent.
the main advantage of this deck is that, it has alot of tech card space.
keycards: coldwave, emergency teleport, DAD

4. lightlord
a very luck base deck, when you've the luck, this deck's rating is more than class-S, probably class-X. basically a rush deck with lightlords, who have good effects as well, then otk with judgement dragon. did i forget to mention honest?
keycards: judgement dragon and.... LUCK

TCG (US) metagame:
1. gladiator beast
unlike OCG, there is no synchro summoning in TCG, GB became the obvious best deck.
although it doesn't have chariot, but it runs with E-hero prisma and test tiger. it tops many national TCG tournaments, and everyone main deck cards to beat it.
keycards: same as OCG GB, but also prisma and test tiger

2. allure DAD
with dimension fusion banned, and return from DD restricted to 1, it's nerfed pretty badly. it used to be all DAD return for top 16, but it's going down hill now. but still you will get owned with DAD x3 in one turn.
keycards: DAD

3. lightlord
same as japanese, it didn't shine much compare to the top 2 decks because it's not stable.
keycards: judgement and 'honestly' you need LUCK.

september's ban and restriction list is coming soon, probably it'll be out in a month's time. just by looking at the keycards you see above, it's really easy to those decks.
restrict DAD, and many decks get nerfed quite badly. as for GB, just take out 1 to 2 key cards, and you can say bye. as for lightlord, i don't know if it's necessary to nerf it. and of course other light base deck which run with honest, e.g. bahamut's national winning deck, but i don't think honest will be touched. coldwave will have a high chance being banned.

IF~ and that is a big 'if', all the above the decks get nerfed and cycle out of the metagame, undead seems like the most promising deck to take over. there're already undead decks in the metagame now, and with OCG 602: crossroad of chaos, undead will get stronger. it's a greedy deck, you get 'free' field and hand.

this morning mog went to his newly posted unit and i received his sms in camp.

"i wudi blur again. so i went to paya lebar aka HQ to report then guess what. the guard tell me HQ 3rd div is yishun firestation... ZOMG even i wanna laugh at myself. so i am now on my way back to yishun with probably extra guard waiting for me being late. nice 1st impression."

i wanna laugh when i read this, really wudi.

and something funny happened on me just now in camp. i have medical appt in NUH in the morning tomorrow, so i'll book out tonight at 5pm. BUT, i forget! (how rare!? a NSF forget to book out!!!) i thought the appt is the day after tomorrow. so yeah, i just reach home. T_T i left the camp at 9.30pm, and luckily my father drived me back since my parents were on the way home.

the only reason i can think of is that i booked in on sunday morning when i usually book in on monday morning after a weekend bookout in every 2 weeks. so i remember the wrong dates as everything has been 'pushed forward by 1 day'

btw... while i was bathing in camp last night, the water pressure is off. so yeah, no water. T_T

i'll be shifting to yew tee by this year, and my parents are now looking for renovation company. it's bigger than the current one in cck, but my room is still the same size. =(

i plan to buy a TV in my room and of course TV means cable TV and PS3!!! not just that, with my own cable TV means i can wired my com to it and a fridge will be another nice add on. money + moeny + money + money = evil plan.

1. one friend promises to buy me a fridge
2. i should be shifting in around my birthday period --> scam parents
3. probably just need to pay one of the above item by myself.

as for location, it's quite near to yew tee mrt with just 5 min walk, and a new shopping centre is under-contrustion next to the station. i've 3 friends living in yew tee (i think there'll be more if i ask around to check).

1. yong sheng (weiqi buddy) --> just next block! LOL?
2. soon guan (one of my best friend) --> 10 min walk i think, and he's shifting in around the same time as i do.
3. stella (poly/cca friend) --> the other side of the mrt station.

now i've lots of meal buddies since i'm always home alone.
