it has been a long time since the last update, kinda busy + lazy.
finally exam is over, and i'm summoned back to singapore by my parents.
i'll fly to brisbane on 24/7 (not 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.)

i've been drinking energy drink (red bull type of stuff) during exam period, and i never like it.

and the name of the drink is 'mother'~ lol

reached singapore on 28/6 morning.

monday:
reached home, and endure my father's nag. -_- worse than a woman.
bought some stuff like shaving gel, then send my laptop in for repair, and omfg SGD$600 for the screen. meet up with ming wei and jason to get my steelseries mouse in sim lim square.

i picked up a steelseries xai (mouse) and a 4HD (mouse pad). this is the 1st time i tried steelseries products, and so far it has been very positive. the weight of the mouse is perfect, the shape and size fit my hand well, and the setting's depth is impressive. the best of all, it has a memory chip inside the mouse to save the settings. maybe i will even get a steelseries keyboard. $$

visited kino, bought 10 manga for my 1st wave of 'to buy list since i was not in sg'. both of them came to my home, jason helped me to unlock my sf4 characters (yes, i've not done so lol) and i gave ming wei his orc vs human match up tutorial to prepare for his wcg.

my aircon leaks water! kinda flooded~

tuesday:
collect my laptop and had another wave of manga purchase. $$$
meet up with jeremy and travel to marina square for dinner. (hor lan~)
i didn't expect to have that many people.

even darrell is in singapore with his long hair. lol

and kelvin bought me hello panda!

sam bought me evangelion 2.0 card sleeve from hk

few of us travelled to elizabeth hotel to catch japan vs paraguay's match.
sam, jason and i waited 45min for the night rider before we realised it's not on service on weekdays ._.
so we took a cab to my home and watched spain vs portugal on stream.

wednesday:
i slept at 7am after both of them left, and woke up at 3pm for lunch.
slept at 4pm and woke up 9pm for dinner. awesome~
then went to bed at 1am. =)
accumulated since exam period and i didn't sleep during the flight as well. plus world cup is owning me!

thursday:
made my way to british embassy to collect my renunciation letter, before i submit it in ICA. the procedure is much faster than i thought, exclude the travelling.
met up with my mother for lunch in orchard.

followed her to cut my hair, to save $ wahahaha!
i heard from the hair dresser, my mother dyed her hair green when i was in aust. lol.
met up with jason and jeremy in amk to check up some stuff before we went to khatib, and saw many familiar faces.

friday:
rest at home in the afternoon and visited ming wee at his new home in sembawang to watch netherland vs brazil. he can't go out to watch since his wife is pregnant. it is nice to catch up with as many people as possible.
almost missed the last train >_<

saturday:
met benjamin in amk to play pool then travel to khatib to meet the rest. we had dinner in mcdonald on a 'no cheese day', and seems like bejewel is the in game now? lol. made my way down to orchard to meet dawn and her friend to watch argentina vs germany. everywhere is full, so we went to elizabeth hotel for the match. but it was full too, so we just stood for 90min for the game.
waited for the 3rd night rider (the 1st two were full) and almost missed spain vs paraguay (watch it on stream again~)

i know it's day 5 of world cup 2010, and it's kinda 'late' to post about it.
i've to pick and watch only 1 match due to exam period, and hope i don't miss too much.
australia has telecast on tv, unlike singapore that you need to subscribe with starhub and singtel. maybe because australia is in the competition?
but the tv is bad at my place. the screen size aside, i need to adjust the antenna every few minutes.

i support spain as usual, one of the favourites to win with castrol calculated spain as the 2nd likely winner.
personally, i feel netherland and germany will do well. talking about germany, i've became a fan of mezut ozil after watching him put up a man of the match performance against australia. the efficiency of germany is scary, and tactically organised. but partly it's australia that made them look good, sometimes the germans are out of position but unpunished by a much weaker team. after germany won australia 4-0, the aussie commentators tone changed. lol.
australia's chance to qualify from the group stage is as good as none. with talisman tim cahill suspended with a red card, low on morale with a 4-0 thrashing, and a not so tactically organised manager.

finally! the assignments are over for this sem.
after 2 days of slacking, it's time to prepare for exam!

and it's kinda irritating when the branches scratch my window as the wind blew.
at first, it's scary, something move outside the window (i'm not living on ground level) at night. it sounds like nails scratching the window, horror movie -_-

i went to city alone, just to walk around and watched a movie.
robin hood is disappointing!

in the city, i happened to catch some kind of 'iraq and turkey gathering'
people held the flags and walked along the road.

last night, i went for a jog.
a dog was shocked as i ran past it, and it jumped into the bushes then bang a tree. LOL
and i injured my right knee in return, it's still swollen. ~_~

as expected of the 3 queens in my assignment group, they don't know the meaning of applesauce, except "苹果酱".
after i told them the meaning, they just can't stop using it for the whole day.

another arsenal summer heartbreaker

for the whole week, there's news about cesc fabregas leaving for barcelona.
it's nothing new to hear an arsenal player going to barca, think overmars, van bronckhorst, petit, hleb, henry, and the list goes on.

for those who need history lesson, cesc was bought to arsenal from barcelona instead back in 2003 when he was 16 (born in 1987, same age as me.) every fan watched him grow and develop to become the heartbeat of current arsenal. but everyone knows he'll one day leave and return to camp nou, but maybe it's sooner than most people expect. every season, there will be news about barcelona wants their boy back, but just never happened.

but now, it seems like it's likely to come true, after what was reported as an "emotional meeting" with arsene wenger. again, the key player of the team to leave in the summer? captain, talisman, heartbeat, whatever you want to call fabulous fabregas, is leaving after signing a long never-been-more-expensive contract with arsenal? many fans feel cheated. i'll say it is as expected that he will leave, though i am expecting it'll be next summer. but still this will break my heart to see him leave. no one can blame him, arsenal is going backwards and barcelona is the best team in the world. his former team mates and childhood friends have been winning silverware every season, but arsenal wins nothing. so it is stay and be a legend, or leave to win titles.

with all sort speculation, there is still no news of advance negotiation or confirmation. when such news appear, fabregas will always step up and claim those are rubbish and he's loyal to arsenal. or wenger will just deny such trash. but none spoke this time, but maybe no news is good news? it does no one any good to keep an unhappy player, so lets just farm a good deal out of it.

alright, that word can just summarise what happened recently.
currently, i'm doing just 3 assignments concurrently. i said "just", because i'm very sure there are people who have more. the main problem with that 3 assignments, well, maybe the problem is with me...
1. organisational behavior workshop: group work, unhappiness between group mates.
2. computer info wtf excel shit: i'm just noob in excel, i believe it's quite simple to those who just know it.
3. business omgwtfbbq research method: this is tough, really, everyone says that. lots of preparation, research, reference, planning, and basically involves everything in the course.

karma for kidnapping my housemate's "tou tou".

first, my laptop screen is damaged.

how?
i was too angry with my assignment score that i threw my mouse at the screen. believe it?

when i wanted to bring my laptop downstairs, it slipped off my hand and flipped... and smashed against the corner of my table.
as you can see, 2/3 of the screen can't be seen.
called to check for repair the next day~ "it will take 46 days to repair."
great, i've an assignment due on tuesday.
so i went to city to buy a monitor.
samsung 20-inch LCD.
maybe i should feel lucky that i don't need a new laptop.

more limitation to my table's space. -0-

carried my laptop in my bag to school and consult my tutor on my assignment. planned to go city after that.
while i walked across the road to the bus stop after consultation, my bag's strap snapped! and yes... my bag dropped in the middle of the road which left my laptop with more damage. and maybe i should again consider myself lucky not to get bang by car. (i just watched another car accident several meters away from me when i walked to school.)

when i carried my monitor home, the car almost crashed into me at the slope.

i made my way down to collect my assignment which i did weeks ago, with hope that i could do decently well.
and last thing i want is anything below my expectation, but a slap by reality again!

67.5/100 <--- noob score!

i just took a quick look at it since i was going to a tut, and there was a comment "you've made good critique point.".
so in the critique section which is 30% of the whole assignment, i get a just pass for it. so i made good critique point which only capable to reach just pass. while my table, i saw negative things on it, but i had high distinction for that? wtf.

talking about that, it was marked by my tutor.
and i had very specific warning from my friend who did this course before, "dont go to her tutorial, join another. you'll suffer."
just when i used to think her way to bring material over is below par, but seems like there's more to it.
there were around 15 people in the 1st tut, followed by 10, 8, 5... and the new low was 2. and i had been quite faithful, not to change tut. -_-
maybe i should have listened to my friend and just tut hop.

that totally demoralised me!
and yes, i'm angry!

anyway, the tutor who taught in the tut that i had after i collected that shit, is kinda 'my type' of tutor. he made sense to me at least. he gives me logical and understandable answer to my question, unlike the other. i like his "does that make sense to you?". quite funny anyway.

so after the tut, i was talking about the assignment score. he was trying to moralise me, "at least you pass." and clearly he caught my expression on my face that, PASSING IS THE VERY MINIMUM REQUIREMENT!
he went on, "do you know that UQ business school is ranked 20+ in the world? you will probably get a 80+ in other schools." and again i think he can read me that i was thinking, "yeah right, you mean oxford, harvard or campbridge?". he just lighted his stick and said, "it is much better than (named some schools which i dont want to name, so don't flame me if you happen to guess it's your school. but you get the idea? LOL)." then another teaching staff walked past, he grabbed her to join the conversation. lol. but one thing is that he didn't go "don't worry, cheer up, you'll do better next time." which i seriously hate to hear such type of comment.

anyway, i won't 自暴自弃 and throw the towel. gonna nail the 2nd assignment and the exam! a total of 80% up for grab.
seems like another episode of come back from me.

walked back with a long black, played some games on bnet.
since i didn't wanna sleep, as i probably will wake up after 7pm. lol.

went out to city to buy gift for wl with chelsea.
followed by krispy kreme when nazeeya joined us.
heard so much abt krispy kreme, and it tastes like normal donut to me.
furthermore i've no love for donut, too sweet.

downloaded HoN beta and played a few rounds with mango & co.
(for those who don't know what's HoN, it's dota brought to its own platform with better graphic and new features)
i can't play dota with them on garena because of server, and your idol being in aust.
crazy delay etc..

praise:
- the major keys are direct brought over from warcraft, e.g. alt, shift, tab, ctrl, A, S, H, M.
- hotkeys can be reconfigured in the option of the game, doesn't need 3rd party program to map hotkeys like item inventory.
- every hero has the same default skill hotkeys (Q, W, E, R), although dota players will take time to get use to it, but i think it's good in long term run.
- in game chat is available, althought it's not as good as skype
- reconnect to the game after a player dc. it's extra useful to me because my connection always dc.
- vote to concede, lets not waste time... lol
- leaver record
- kick inactive players (i get kicked because i was clicking around the shops to find item. lol)

jeer:
- the minimap is horrible, can't really see much. i didn't notice enemy is beside me.
- fog of war is too short. the game map is relatively stretched in compare with dota's, so with the fog distance to decrease further, it becomes more sneaky. you need to have closer control in terms of micro, and click closer to your hero when u move at times. maybe this encourage more ganking, with the fog distance, you can gang better due to fog abuse initiative.
- slight map bug, because of the tree positioning and the fog. when i click to move into the trees, my hero move to the edge of the entrance then the fog covered up the point location, so my hero auto find another route to the place i click. so it looks like my hero move in and out of the entrance, can be solved by close micro control clicks.
- the colour is too close to each other, so hard to tell for many things.
- need to balance some of the stuff, e.g. magmus (sandking)'s stun time (2.15sec) is longer than the ulti's channelling time (2sec).

week 4 of semester, and i think i'm slightly behind in term of assignment progression.

a sudden weird cry in the middle of law lecture, and everyone looked over to see a girl who looked to the ceiling and appeared to have fit. the lecturer phoned the emergency hotline, while he related instructions from a medic on the phone. some rushed over to help her, as she had no pulse and cough blood. minutes later, a medic arrived and the lecture is announced cancelled.

i walked out of the hall, bought a coffee (love it), moved to the library to post on the course's discussion board to ask will there be a make up lecture or should i crash another lecture. and the reply is fast, really fast.

don't ask me if she's dead, because i won't know.

i think many of you know that i don't exactly consider myself as being 'singaporean', mainly deal to the denial i received in early days in singapore. i very much label myself as being HK who carries a singaporean passport.

being a foreigner in australia, people often ask where am i from, and i find it hard to answer.

i was grouped with 3 girls from hong kong in a tutorial group to work on a workshop for later week. and i can tell they regard me as a 'singaporean', even though we speak cantonese in discussing etc. the feeling of being 'rejected' by 'country man' is...... i don't know how should i describe it. sour?

so i asked, "doesn't this in a way contradicts with chapter one we learnt last week regarding the relationship between law, ethic and justice. a jury doesn't have knowledge on this field (which is what make that person a jury), but he's making a decision on a case. since he's a commoner without law background, he'll judge the case by ethic and justice, not law. and this is being held in a court. ironic."

DEFINITION IS OVERRATED!

i was studying "business research methods", and there're many definitions to remember. and every definition is linked to the next.

you must define theory, before you can define concept, before you can define propositions, before you can define hypothesis, before you can define empirical testing. and it goes on...............

and then i've reached a point whereby i kinda 暴走！
"empirical testing: examining a research hypothesis against reality using data."

i can understand whats "hypothesis" by reading the hypothesis's definition, but what's "reality"? there's no definition in the book. (i know it sounds lame, but you can't just give your own understanding of something as definition. at least i'm not qualified to do so.)

every course has something to do and read every week.
but it's so much more relevant and interesting than poly.
e.g. i'm taking business law in current sem which i did it before in poly.
poly: memorise and reproduce things in exam that kinda forcing to make sense (maybe it's the lecturer).
uni: read and understand the concept, and show it during exam. (open book...)
i almost failed this in poly, simply can't remember word for word when the reasoning doesn't really link in my mind. and the lecturer in uni is more productive and organised, professors or doctors afterall. they can deliver knowledge and concept well, to me at least.

every night, do my bed time reading of textbook. in a way, i'm enjoying it. not too much work but still keep you working. and they're fairly interesting.
but i think life will be so much more stressful as weeks go by.

night: met a friend

after return home from city, i bathe and sleep (6pm+). tired -_-"
i heard juemin and chelsea came back from toowong, but i didn't bother and collapsed on my bed. i think it's 8pm, i walked down the stairs to search for food.

i saw someone was vacuum cleaning a car in garage who certainly not my housemate.
1st thought: who the fuck is this guy invading my garage (gonna grab weapon)
2nd thought: heard my housemates' voice in living room (so that guy must be someone they know)

take a closer look, and wtf, it's ng xun! LOL...
someone i know back in poly days, he was the president of ngee ann poly's chess club. what a small world, he was juemin's housemate. he was shocked to see me in the house too. had a chat with him, know another school mate now.

and they cooked dinner for me, with soup! =)
and the washing machine is having pms.. -_-

i planned to post about my enrollment problem, but well it's still not solved yet.
just to keep my blog healthy, so gonna update about life here.

it had been raining for 3 days and nights. for once, i didn't on the fan to sleep last night.

on my timetable, there's only 1 tutorial today which starts next week, so i slept till god know when. woke up by wl's sms, so gonna meet her in school and accompany her to buy her books.

went to her place and had instant rice later in the night.
at 6pm+, i got a sms from chelsea (my house mate).
chels: "are you comin back for dinner?"
me: "nope... r u eating alone?"

sometime later,
chels: "i cooked ur share. u can eat for lunch tmr k?"

instinctively, all sort of doubtful thoughts flash through mind.
"what advantage will she gain from such move, what will her next move be, what will she predict me to do, is it true, simply cook too much, what will she loss....... etc..."
well, i guess i'm nurtured this way. can't be helped after experiencing all sort of nasty stuffs when i was younger, especially when i just migrated to singapore.

but deep down, i know she did that out of good will.
now look back at it, i feel guilty that i had all the above instinctive thoughts.

1st week in brisbane

after so much of "i'll blog soon", i finally have the time to do it now.

sunday:
- landed in brisbane
- jean's friend, dylan drove to pick us up (we rent a car for few days).
- took sometime to find 'sunnybank' for dinner, a place where asian hang out.
- drove dylan home then followed by a long searching trip to my place
- almost got into a car accident.
- room has nothing but a bed and a small drawer
- tested out the internet to game (1 sec delay is shit)
- ant killing session
- put up bedsheet and rest
- live alone (housemate back on fri)

monday:
- walk to school with wl
- get my si-net username and password (at last!!)
- tried to use it in school
- walk to wl's home for lunch (not prepared)
- walk back to school to attend BEL's orientation
- jean drove us to toowong to shop some grocery
- cook dinner with wl (gg not cooked pasta)
- enrol into courses online in order to apply for student card

tuesday:
- drove to ikea by jean to shop for wardrobe, table, chair.
- lunch at ikea (typical ikea lunch -> meatballs)
- had a hard time fitting everything into the car.
- drove back home and put everything down
- rushed to school to meet some sort of advisor
- queue to get student card
- get a GO card (ez-link card)

- pack my room

- chelsea arrived
- try to solve enrollment bug in school
- go home and try to email about the bug again (yes, simply to imba)

- go to westend market with chelsea and kai wen by city cat (ferry)

- went back home to stall the food

anyway, regarding the house. it's in sub-urb.
it has 2 levels, 3 bed rooms, 1 garage and bla bla bla...
shared with 2 other people.
walking distance to school, less than 30min walk.
there's this long steep slope to the main road, good exercise!
at night, it's dark, really, very. lol.
lots of ants, technically dead ants. pool of dead ants? lol
when i 1st reached, i look at the bathroom, i see pools of them. after i use a cup to flush them away, more will appear. and as i flush, ants were flushed out. but slowly it's getting better day by day. (as promised, no gross pic!)
there're all sort of creatures, cockroaches, ants, spiders, bat, bla bla bla. and bush turkeys! they always invade my backyard. very noisy~ oh yeah, there was this fat crispy worm in the living room, i picked it up and it breaks into pieces, and it continues into many pieces. just simply to crispy. and thank god, no fucking frogs!
i'll post pic of the place and my room soon as things get more complete.

finally flying off tmr... and everyone is snatching me for the last night. >_< all wanna ask me out.

i decided not to bring my ps3. anyway, i brought wire to link my laptop to router to enhance my ~~gaming~~ study.

i realised that i forget to indicate in earlier post, that i'm flying off at terminal 3. and if you're sending me off, please don't try to give me a surprise. because if i happen to go into the gate early, then u'll have alittle surprise early in the morning at changi.

this week, i've so many farewell dinner and meetng etc... tiring~ and i still don't get to meet many though.

roller coaster season

months ago, when arsenal lost 0-3 at home to chelsea, everyone says it's gonna be a 2 horse-race. few weeks ago, arsenal was top of table...

last week, when arsenal suffered back to back defeat to manu 1-3 at home and 2-0 to chelsea at the bridge. 9 points gap, and again all said it's 2 horse-race.

now arsenal won livepool 1-0 last night, and with manu drew with villa, everton beat chelsea (again >_<). the race is open again.

most exciting season i've ever seen.

look back at january's tournaments, the result is far from satisfying.

a poor run of swiss in jurong on 30/01 to sum up the month. (i didn't join 31/01 in jurong)

just to summarised things that i've overlooked and can be improved.

1. miss out possible otk chance

being known to be a conservation and control player, i often miss out a possible way to win the game in 1 turn. my mind will auto pilot to predict what opponent will and can do, while i try to get the better side of it. but so often i just miss out simple way of winning the game. another main reason is that i didn't pay enough attention to opponent's hp, but more often looking at my own hp. maybe it's a sign of having "lack of confidence". i know it sounds very weird to come from me. lol.

regarding this, i must talk about alex. he always says i'm being too conservative after i lost. sometimes he just tried to force the idea over, e.g. after searching wih ww through shura, i just set a book of moon a done (not knowing opponent's deck). and he said i should set everything e.g. icarus etc. because opponent later just do lots of summoning and push the board, and it's considered a mistake not to set more to him. how about i may just get heavy storm-ed? he argued that opponent will not dare because of starlight road running in my deck. but it's too big of risk. i saw him did that before and he got heavy storm-ed which cost him the game, he went on to complain that opponent draws into that 1 and only heavy storm in deck.

2. over concern with card advantage

technically same as above. i did that just on saturday in swiss 3 2nd game, when probably i should just use hurricane to ensure it's safe before i proceed to do brain control while opponent has 1 set card. because i've body as shield, i planned to do a 1 for 1 trade if necessary which i later learnt my lesson that it's a book of moon.

well... jeff is good in this, often see his deck runs cards that will loss card advantage, but will give him more options.

3. "functional fixedness"

click and read more to know the title means. i don't really have much of this nowadays though, learnt from past mistakes. sometimes i even make use of this to my advantage, e.g. i just get trap dust shooted by opponent. i start playing mind games and in a way control opponent. but of course, i need to have a hand that can allow me to do so after i get trap dust shooted to begin with.

joined the tournament in lorong ah soo today.
哥只是个悲剧，不要崇拜哥。

deck used: whirlwind black feather

swiss 1: vs emperor (OO)
round 1- controlled and won, force move and fake away too many of his cards
round 2- he wanna otk me but clearly it's not enough damage, so just blizzard to kill.

swiss 2: vs lightlord (OXX time out)
round 1- he didn't have a good LL hand, no crazy milling advantage. won with card advantage
round 2- typical LL good hand, wulf gareth lumina and draw cards. after struggling with light mirror, his deck is left with around less than 1/4 and no judgement dragon is in grave, so likely it's in his hand. i can't clear his field, so no choice but to go for decisive arm. he has judgement and jean. later he carrier and brionac, and the game dragged on. but get hit by gareth and lumina for 3 turns and lost, after drawing crow, dark arm (dead card) and book of moon.
round 3- again get typical LL-ed, wulf lyla lumina and 3x gardna. i crowed the wulf, and when he milled another wulf, i vortexed after i drew the late coming light mirror (time has just been called). shura and solemn on field with kalut in hand. with 3 hands next turn, he'll likely normal summon and carrier to synchro either goyo and get kalut, or he brionac, will get solemn. end up he used hurricane and go for goyo which get kalut-ed, shura search gale. plan to hit then armor master, with solemn behind, plus all his possible come back cards are in grave. BUT, he has 3 gardna, just blocked this turn, then he can just end his next turn to win the match with higher life point. time is called after 30min (yes! it's not 40min!), if i've 10 more min, i'm sure i'll take this game.

round 1- nothing much i can do
round 2- nothing much he can do
round 3- do some trade here and there with our life point still at 8000 each. i've an active vayu in grave, and kalut, icarus, tidal wave. i set icarus and done. suddenly time i called when akira plays his ww, then summon a shura and search kalut followed by a direct attack. i drew solemn then used vayu in grave to summon arms wing and attack on shura which get mirror forced which i trade with icarus on shura and ww. set tidal wave which is used on his kalut on next turn. drew book of moon or bottomless which i can't remember, all i can do now is summon kalut attack and lose with time out. as you can see, it's still an open game. if i know the time is going to be called, i will set tidal wave instead of icarus. which he can't search with ww and no shura for 1800. he has no monster, and probably i'll win by time out with arms wing and kalut. but well... same shit time out at a nice timing without notice.

as for those who are worried if i can handle everything by myself there, you've nothing to worry about.

i'm sure migrating from hong kong to singapore 14 years ago is tougher than going to aust now. as for doing everything myself, i often live by myself. so shouldn't be a problem. my main concern should be the financial and academic challenge. financially, my father is sponsoring, but i'm not someone who will overspend anyway. so the main focus is to get a nice result slip.

1. shura effect search breeze when you wanna keep your gale in deck or probably your gale is in hand. synchro for armor master.
2. normal summon let say bora, activate whirlwind and search for breeze. breeze's effect and s.summon it. synchro armor master.
3. normal summon kalut then same as above e.g., synchro arms wing.
4. can be searched by blizzard through ww too.

watched the duel video for the final match on last saturday tournament against akira.

committed a major mistake in game 1, when his dark arm dragon is set by book of moon, and his goyo is face up. i s.summon brionac and do noob stuff. due to the fact that i didn't pay attention to opponent's LP, although the game was won later, but it clearly is something worth regret about. emo*
with opponent left with 2250 LP,
best choice: synchro arms wing and not brionac then attack on the face down dark arm dragon and use kalut for the win.
2nd choice: synchro brionac and use its effect to clear both dark arm and goyo for a direct attack to win.

ants invasion

my dorayaki had been invaded by ants!!!

while watching football, i unwrapped 1 dorayaki n my table and put in my mouth. (without looking at it)
for just 1 sec, i can taste that its taste was not right.

my mouth is filled with ants too...

after some rescue actions, i could feel they are still crawling on my body.

back from china

back from north east china, the temperature difference took me a day to settle in.
from lower than -30 degree Celsius to more than 30 degree Celsius.

and during the 1st night i'm back, i woke up in the middle of the night with cramp at the stomach. struggled to the washroom to vomit out yellow liquid and nothing else (i suppose it's gastric juice). my throat and mouth are burning, plus i found it hard to breath. i managed to get back on my bed after god knows how long, and i realised i've fever at 5-6am after being woke up by sam's phone call.

reality of the metagame

recently the tournament result is getting from bad to worse.
slowly dropping out of constant minimum top 5-6 position in every tournament to being KO in early elimination stage, and ytd is scrubbed with 2 defeats in 1st 2 matches.

metagame is dominated by lightlord variates and cosmo variates (mainly eatos).
one is self-touch, and the other is preventing opponent from self-touch.

and i think this the main reason why i'm struggling in this meta, being too reactive in my gameplay nature. still i'm playing my akb, though it's struggling in this meta. i feel that my built is not weaker than any of the akb that i see on others' websites, or even probably mine is better. in reality, not everything can be like AE86 in initial D. or is it that i'm not as god as takumi?

sam was saying he has no worries for akira for team tourney but me, well, given the result in november and december, i'm indeed the weak link. "i rather you play the deck you play in world tournament." is his comment. and i just replied "i don't feel it's that strong." clearly, WW BF is not as dominating as it was in last ban. it's dependent on farming advantage with WW now, and creating a chance for you to place WW and flow the advantage from there is the key. but i simply feel there're clearly better decks out there, but i get another slap from reality. akira is saying it's strong and he can top 8 with it in asia tournament, and it's me playing too many defensive cards in WW BF. but when i look at the deck list, almost every card is staple or at least things that you'll play with this deck. he pointed out i didn't play hurricane, i agreed that i forgot about it when i wrote out the list. to me, they just wanna be nice and didn't say out that i'm not on par with them.

when there's no result, i suck, even if i'm playing well.

i'm not surprised by the result, i expected chelsea to win 2-0 though.
arsenal jus seems so lost, without van persie.
chelsea did well to limit arsenal's options, force them to go wide and cross, which will not be a treat.
arsenal has a goal disallowed, which may change the flow of the game.

but in the end, totally outplayed...

so much talk about the organisers and judges, i should start with myself.
if i win all my matches, there's nothing organisers or judges can do to stop me from claiming the championship. unless by finding faults to DQ me, or do what they did yesterday by conducting less than required swiss rounds.

but well, i feel i don't deserve to win. although i can push it to lucklords, but the 2 that i met in swiss are no better than those lightlords i meet every week.

lets go to the things that should not happen yesterday:

1. deck check
when i submit my deck list for deck check, it's only done by scanning if i've illegal cards in deck. but not comparing if it matches what i write on the list. although this 'shortcut' method is practiced in other countries. remember charles easton's world qualifier this year?

2. format
with 150+ players, a 5 round swiss before a top 16 single elimination format. the number of swiss round should be decided on number of players, hence only 1 player will have a full score. but this is not followed everytime, and the best excuse i can think for them is restriction of venue. basically it's the organiser booked a place in smu to host this tournament but it's not huge enough to hold 150+ players to play a swiss round in a single wave. so the time used will be doubled as there're 2 waves for 1 swiss round. and the time is also restricted, lights will be off in smu after a certain timing. this can be improved by getting a bigger venue (money problem) or make it a 2 days event (money problem) so the best way is make it a single elimination from the start, but probably some people will feel they pay $10 entry fee to lose 1st round and go home. which discourage some players, hence less income for organisers.
P.S. there's more to format in later of the day which will be mention at the bottom

3. judges
the judges are not capable to solve basic ruling problems during gameplay, and of course more problem with metagame deck cards' ruling. and worse, 'house rule' is being posted online. when a judge has came to a decision on a ruling conflict between players, it's not final. as the player who is in disadvantage just carries on arguing with the judge, the decison is changed then again. i also see judges play in the tournament as player, unacceptable.

4. specific cards being 'unbanned' in format
raiou, gorz and sarcophagus are specifically named weeks before the tournament that they can be used. when qualifier within the country is concerned, the format is played according to the country respectively. e.g. japan allows duel terminal exclusives. USA allows TCG exclusives. so singapore should be played under asian format, which means that 3 cards can't be used. and if cards are to be unbanned, it should be named by the source. e.g. valuable book exclusives. and not just unbanned because the judges/organisers just like it. and the news is not being spread officially but just within the small community, and i'm sure there're players who didn't know about it.

5. pairing in swiss rounds
a computer program (mantis) is used for pairing in swiss, however clear manual conspiracy is being done.
- players should never meet the same opponent within swiss, jeryl and sam were paired up again.
- more than 1 player is paired down. just swiss round 2 alone, there're 3 pair down matches.
- in swiss round 2, someone with 1 win from round 1 is given a bye.
- akira is recorded as 1 win, when he had 2. but organisers proceed with pairings, which means he's paired down.

6. crowd control and time control
when basic tournament management i mentioned above can't be meant, i doubt crowd and time control will be in radar. spectators were too closed to players, this can still be accepted. but time for each match is not kept constant for all rounds, 1 round has 30min and the other has 40min. and when time is called, it's not announced to all players.

7. change of format during tournament
when it's supposed to be 5 round swiss with top 16 single elimination, it's last minute changed to 4 round swiss with top 8 single elimination. when i mention above that there will be more than 1 player with all wins if the number of swiss round is not sufficient, which is unfair. now with 4 round swiss and top 8 cut point, there're players with all wins don't make it to top 8 still. bravo~

fly's form is crazy, win almost everything recently.
infi's wcg form is good too, he knocked out moon and happy.

i'm disappointed that sky lost his opening game against yaws, but yaws played well and deserved to win. BO1 in group stage has more luck factors, due to 1 map 1 game. and clearly sky's form is not there, plus the pressure he withstand before and throughout the tournament is inhuman.

in the end, he qualified to knock out as group second and lost to happy 0-2 in top 16.

just in case you don't know, i never like my father.
always trying to shape me to what he wants me to be, control and plan my stuff.

last night, he talked to me. saying that i treat my mother as maid, because she cooks for me and wash my clothes. and also other housework. and i just play games and do nothing constructive. and contribute nothing to the family.

i'm waiting for uni, and so he expects me to be studying right now. and i do revise for your info, just that i won't be doing like what most people doing in school. because they've a proper syllabus but not me. so am i suppose to open my textbook and act as if i'm studying when it's ineffective. and i actually read up online and ask friends. but all he thinks he see is i play games 24/7. he only believes what he wants to believes.

alittle history on how he always think he's right and shape me. in 2001, that is my sec 2 year, i'm supposed to choose what i wanna study for higher sec for o lvl. and i have chose mine, (EL, CL, E.math, A. math, p.chem, p.physic, a/c and comb hum) but he insisted that i must take p.bio and not a/c. and the final line he said is "i've more exp than u in this world, i know what is good for u. jus listen." what can i say? he feeds me. fine, i took bio. and i got a A1 for 1st exam, then i fail on purpose all the way til o lvl. i just don't wanna be forced. i scored in my 1st exam to prove that i'm capable not because i can't. in 2003, after my o lvl, he wanted me to study biz mgt, because he wanted it. his reason is that i've little knowledge of everything. but i've told him which also leads to no where. but yeah again, he's paying my school fee. so suck thumb.

regarding my mother being a maid, my mother always complains to me it's him who makes her become a maid. and she told me doing housework is all she can do for me as a mother, and feel being needed. sometimes why not just appreciate it and not do what you think it should be. so what will my mother do everyday? like him, staring at the com looking at the stocks? he thinks that i can't manage to do it myself, when i'm so often being left alone at home. not being to do my own housework? and now he's saying i can't manage in aust.

he talks about give and take, my mother does the housework and i should. ok, i agree with that. but that line only comes to me because he did some housework. how about when he had not retired? my mother complain so much about her serving him. from now on, i'll not dine at home, if he thinks that she cooks for me make her the maid. and i'll wash my own clothes separately. i think within 2 days, my mother will complain to him that i'm not eating with her. also mention that i leave my clothes on the bed after i took them off, simply because my mother told me don't have to wash them everytime i use them. (those that i wear to sleep.) he just lives in his own world.

also not happy that i wake up past 12pm. ok fine, i just wake up early today and leave home to library to sleep there. i will still watch my champions league match in mid night, that won't change.

not long ago, when i rejected to work for iras, he jus scolded me, without knowing anything at all. "how can a person be like u" i still remember.

2 months ago, when i'm applying for the school. he also wants to take charge of it, but clearly without any sort of info and just what he thinks is right again. he just scolded me for delaying and wanted to charge down to the agency to settle it. have he ever thinks that i need to oath for my citizenship? change my passport? and my particulars may have changed. and after i'm done with it, i told him about preparing a cheque (which i've reminded him long ago, and he said the rate is not good. which i think it's ok to wait.) and suddenly he said i don't care about my future, the money is not my concern, but his. and next thing he said all i know is spending his money. back to the story of charging down to the agency, i told him he needs to prepare a bank draft 1st. i've filled up everything, called the agency to ask. i even call the uni in aust about my new offer (because i change to start in another sem) after i get the bank draft, i settle the rest by myself, smooth~

even the accommodation in aust, the booking of flight. he just wants them his way, i've said before that i will be sharing with someone there and i'm looking for one (looking it out online) and my friends there are helping too. as for air tix, i wait to confirm with 1 friend because she's flying to sg then back to aust with me.

it's just always he, him and himself.
he's not seeing the big picture, i don't need him but his money to pull me through school. i'm not his puppet. one day i'll not need his money anymore, and i'm gonna pay back every cents. that day isn't far.

from what i see, the seeded player will top their respective group. probably the only one which may not be so sure is group c, depends on the result between grubby vs who.

compare to last year, gnoll wood and secret valley changed to echo isle and ancient isles.

secret valley should be included, as most tournaments used them now, quite surprised it's being removed.
as for echo isle being back to the list, i feel it shouldn't be removed to begin with. it's considered 'must-have' maps along with twisted meadows and turtle rock.
terenas stand should be removed, because it's too advantage to human and also night elf. (yes, i play humam >.<) furthermore, it's not commonly used in tournaments now, melting valley is a good replacement. almost every match has melting valley after draft/reverse-draft.
as for ancient isles, it's getting more common. so nothing much to say. except, it's not on Bnet's map!

overall, human has quite a good map choice.
terenas stand considers as human map, while echo isle is not bad for human.

moon, the 5th race, arguably the best and most successful player ever. sadly he still has not claimed a single wcg title, with a silver last year.
lyn, asia's best orc, my favourite orc player. a wcg title will be a good prove to the world that he's in the same tier with moon, sky and grubby.

i shall refer the person who contacts me about the job as person A.

around 1 month ago,
i've consulted person A regarding the temperary job in iras, and we've agreed on the stuff like duration and pay. which starts from 15 oct btw.

1-2 weeks after that, HR from iras called me and asked if i can start work that following week. of course i told them that i am supposed to start on 15 oct, and then HR told me that there's no such thing and asked if i wanna give a pass on the job. i can't start work in sep apparently due to my europe trip.

next day, i was contacted by person A that there's miscommunication and i start on 15 oct still.

not long after that, i receive another call from HR, which kinda same content as the earlier call. and of course i will still give the same answer.

well, person A contacted me after that again and told me it had been settled and start work on 15 oct.

shortly after i return from europe, i saw a sms that inform me to start on 16 oct from person A. so i confirmed and agreed.

this morning, i got another call from HR. and now this starts to piss me off, as i am now told that my work starts on 20 oct. not for the first time, i told them about the earlier agreement! so i told the HR to sort it out with person A before calling me again. HR then told me it will stick to 16 oct AGAIN. as we go into the details, the dress code and pay are different from what i was told earlier on. i phoned person A to know what is wrong with it, and she insisted it's what we agreed on earlier on and it's HR that screw up.

now i told person A to confirm the details with HR and update me.
seems like it's gonna be fun to work with them...

i've been using undead synchro since september 2009 ban list, and i'm quite satisfied with the deck. one of the best deck available so far.

tested and tuned for 3 weeks, now my built has fixed and just minor adjustment to suit the metagame accordingly every week. i wanted to play vayu bf but undead is more of my style in the normal singapore format (japan format).

i know there's something wrong with my wisdom teeth for quite sometime, painful and disturbing. spoils mood, and lost temper easily. pms huh?

since my parents are going to see a dentist, i just follow and to fix my problem. i'm mentally prepared to remove the teeth. get it done before i fly to aust. and yes, it's teeth not tooth.

and so yesterday morning, visit DR wong who happens to graduate from uni of queensland in 1985. my senior lol.

he checked on my problem and recommend to remove the wisdom teeth on my right both bottom and top. the bottom is the one that is giving me all the pain. did a 2D x-ray scan and realised that it seems to be touching the nerve which is dangerous. did another 3D x-ray scan for $250 !@#$%. the distance between the tooth and the nerve is 0.06mm ~_~"

i still carry on with it, so he applied some med in my mouth then inject 3x on the right. told to go out and wait to be called again while he attended to others, while i get the numb feeling. i fell asleep and saliva flows to my chin. lol and i can't feel anything. my parents went for lunch, while i went in for the surgery. he placed some tubs in my mouth and started working on it while the nurse assisted. i still can feel the pain, so more injections. as the surgery carries on, i think i've more around 14 injections if i miscount.

during the process, i open my eyes and look at both the doctor and the nurse (this jie jie is not that pretty, maybe should have listened to my friend to visit those whereby uni students are interns.) 6 equipments in my mouth at a time. i can see their gloves turn bloody and the drills are crazy. i can still feel the pressure and things fly out from my mouth as he drilled. after removing the bottom tooth, the doc sewed up with disolvable treads, and i felt like in the movie "saw". -_- as he was still sewing which took quite long, i reached to my pocket for my phone and wanted to take a pic. but i forgot i left it on the table so that i can be as comfortable as possible. so yeah, no epic photo taken.

this is what happened after the visit.

after the bottom is done, the top jus took less than 3 min? lol. he forcefully pulled it out. T_T
the doc was complaining that i didn't open my mouth wide enough, which i can't control my jaw properly after so many injections.

went home with medicine, spit blood out every min. nothing new to me as i always experience this from nose bleeding. right side of the face is swollen, and i used something to attach an ice pack to my face.

joined so many tournaments, and how often do you have one that starts on time?
who should you blame?
the organiser? for not following the time it will start which he stated. but he earns more money when he waits for more participants.
the players? how many actually reached before the registration time and start time? everyone just abuses that the organisers will wait for their entry fee.

just for today, i planned to join the tournament in khatib which states that it'll begin at 1430. and by 1445, i asked the organiser when is it gonna start, and the reply is nothing new "there's someone who is still on his way, 5 more min." i didn't want to put his name here.
so 5 min after 5 min... and i went up to the organiser again, and the reply is "5 more min, maybe u can call him."
i waited another 5 min, apparently the organiser didn't even know what time is this "king" gonna reach. i've enough, so i just collect back my entry fee from him, and walked off. before i did, i can tell from the list that, many had not paid the entry fee yet. this is another problem, it's so common that players love to drag the timing and unwilling to part with their money when they've already written their name on the list.

to this dear organiser, if you think you wanna please that 1 friend of yours and let everyone waits, you just pissed another friend of yours. and if you think you can earn that extra $5 from that person who is not sure what time is he gonna show up, you loss that $5 from me who is already there waiting for the tournament to be started.

every time i go to elizabeth to catch arsenal's game, you people said you'll be there. and not a single time that everyone who promised to be there will all show up, there'll always be one or two who just said they don't feel like coming. just yesterday, i walked up to elizabeth alone because one by one sms me that you don't feel like going. (and i know one of you had said that you mostly won't make it because of other committment, i don't blame you.) every week, i'll receive sms just an hour before we're supposed to meet that someone is not coming.

not just watching football, just last friday when i supposed to meet 3 people for movies. someone sms me just 2 hours in advance that she didn't feel like going.

now it brought back memory that there was this once, i was suppose meeting 3 people for movie.
i took a train from cck to bugis via jurong east, and when i reached tanjong pagar, one smsed me that she didn't feel like going out and told me to inform the rest because she was afraid the rest will be mad at her. i told the other 2, and one got mad and didn't wanna come. the other was disappointed too, so it was cancelled. so i changed train from raffle's place to marina bay and then all the way to cck again.

adebayor aside, manchester city 4-2 arsenal.

arsenal is really bad last night, there's no momentum, and lack of the spark which usually provided by arshavin, walcott, nasri, and rosicky, who were all injured except rosicky came off the bench after sidelined for 16 months. and take nothing away from the home side, they played really well. solid in their defence, close down fast and well.

and again, almunia made a mistake which led to a goal. he's good, but not good enough.
van persie's goal is a real class, not to forget he finished by his weaker right foot.

and bendtner looked as if he didn't deserve to play in the EPL, he's a centre forward who is good in the air. but arsene is always playing him on the right (this season). when he has no pace on the flank, not skillful enough to beat the side back, doesn't have good crossing ability. even he himself admits his best position is centre foward. the only reason i can think of for placing him on the right is that, you want to play the ball to him from far whereby he's good in the air. when you're playing at the side, u usually will go 1 on 1 with the sideback and i'm sure he can win the ball most of the time. but what's next? he dribbles and losses the ball, or just ends with a poor cross. probably someone should just claims the ball from him after he received it and bendtner himself moves into the box. i just miss walcott on the right~

Beyond The Game, a documentary on grubby and sky.
alot of interesting scenes.
both of them have girlfriends who are behind them all the time, and of course ppg who travelled around the world with grubby for his tournaments.

grubby & ppg

it's not easy for their girlfriends to accept and support their occupation. not to mention parents, probably they'll only 'understand' when they win their prize money and getting famous like some movie stars. but how many people are there to reach that standard, and there're so many people waste their youth on such dream, even drop out of school just to play it.

when i saw sky's tears after he lost to creo in wcg2007 final, i also felt like crying. although i've seen this scene Nx, i still can feel the heartache. a dream to 3 consecutive wcg gold medals...

i remembered when my friend phoned me about the match after creo won it, i just didn't wanna believe it. "u're bluffing me..." i didn't wanna believe sky lost, until i saw it online with my own eyes after i booked out.

finally it's the mayday DNA concert in singapore.
actually another performance was added on 28th, and li xin phoned me on that very morning (i was still slping) that she had tickets. but i didn't go after all. $60, didn't expect good seat. she told me on the next day that they shifted seat to lower row right in the middle. omg! chin teck and i were full of regret. but i was told later that both were almost the same.

anyway on 29th, met up with li xin in douby ghout for dinner then took a bus to indoor stadium. happen to see weilin and.... i can't remember the other guys's name >_< (forgive me!) i know some of my friends will be going to the concert too. saw chin fong there before i went in, and took a pic with her. she had tickets 5 row from the front. OMG! "i'm not selling it to you even for a 1 million dollar." the entrance is good, a video is shown about them trying to escape from their daily life and steal john lennon's DNA. while escaping with a taxi, later on a real taxi was rushing out from the top and the concert started. the stage is nice too. 10th anniversary for their 1st concert.

i like the part when 恋爱ing was sang in jazz. they sang many other old songs too.
concert ended at 12:20am, time for me to rush down to elizabeth hotel to watch manchester united vs arsenal which kicked off at 12:15am, was suppose to meet up with ji sheng and gong, but i didn't expect the concert to end that late. i jogged for around 2km in order to get away from the crowd to get a taxi, really don't want to miss the match.

end up the result is disappointing, arsenal lost 2-1. arsenal was the better team that night even ji sheng admitted (he's a manu fan who wore a manu jersey in an arsenal fan club) diaby's own goal is unexpected, he headed into his own goal from giggs's cross under no pressure from anyone. as for almunia's foil, yes that was a penalty. and i shall not go into referee's performance. the match ended with an epic scene off the pitch when wenger was told to walk off. he had no where to go but to walk up in front of the manu fans and stand, which later i read online that the chief of ref sent in an apology to wenger.

consider a easy group compared to the rest.
arsenal is on good form since the start of the season even though missing out on key players, walcott, nasri, rosicky... scoring 15 goals in 4 games.
most importantly the team played with lots of confidence and self-belief which is leaking for past few years. could this be the year?

looking forward to watch manchester united vs arsenal this weekend, i'll be watching it in elizabeth hotel.

back from hk and macau

landed last night in changi airport, reached home at 1:00am.

hk has a level 8 typhoon last night, and transports like ferry, bus, plane, were not in service. luckily managed to take off before get caught by the typhoon, although the plane is not stable due to it. 2 days ago, the typhoon level was 3, and we were up in in macau tower when we witnessed the change in weather.

game 1: [XOX] grave BF (kenneth)
1: he has 1 hand and 1 gorz attack mode on field, with a set card. 1x gardna in grave. i've a set sangan which i chain to book of moon it last turn. i chose to summon rescue cat for x-saber + sea koala. the possibility of the set card: mirror force, bottomless, burial from DD, threatening roar. so i didn't flip summon my critter, in case mirror force, i won't eat direct next turn (i've bottomless set) and if he chose to gardna twice with burial, i still can synchro for colossus and search summon priest with sangan. not to forget i've pot of avarice in hand already. end up it's burial and he gardna twice, so i end up colossus. i chose to use pot, hope for book of moon or mirror force. then i drew tidal wave and set. next turn get owned by his brain wash on colossus and 2x direct. die with 5 cards in hand, AMEN~
2: i've summon priest, GK guard, heavy storm, golden box, DAD. so i just guard and heavy storm. ready for otk next turn. he set 1 monster and 2 m/t. so i just pro storm it and he chained with threatening roar. i chose to use guard's effect and end (i know he plays raikou). he used trap dust shoot on my next draw phase and shuffle back my priest, so i used golden box to search for the priest again. otk is delayed. i otk after i took back my priest 2 turns later.
3: he summoned grepher and discard gardna and search for sirocco then set 1 card (threatening roar). i've spy, x-saber, des koala, mind control, raikou, guard. i chose to set spy and end. since i've only 1 tuner, i may wanna use arcanite mag for next turn if possible, further there're many materials in hand which make that x-saber extra important. so he used grepher's effect again on his turn, which he farmed more for his grave and summon some synchro. later i summon x-saber mind control control his grepher to use effect to discard DAD and search for another dark from deck then black rose to forcefully use pot of avarice and hope to draw something since i've no choice. (if i've another dark in hand i could have just DAD + DDB, as i already have 2 dark in grave from the spy earlier) and i just get owned after that

conclusion: i think i played well, the 1st round can't really considered as a mistake. as for 2nd round, i played it perfectly, maybe using guard's effect is debatable. in 3rd round, maybe i shld summon x-saber then mind control and attack with x-saber then synchro with dark dive rather then let him use its effect again. unless what he set is bottomless, should be fine. but the reason i didn't do that is because i've other material in hand which may make that x-saber valuable.

game 2: [OXO] whirlwind BF (lester)
1: bluff a icarus out then 2x x-saber to drop 2 hands, and i pot of avarice. card advantage of more than 6 cards. won comfortably.
2: bluff 1x icarus, force 1x icarus, but overall both player can't do much. later i've ddb on field with a dust tornado set. he used blizzard to synchro for goyo and monster reborn my x-saber. goyo attacked ddb and x-saber direct. drops rescue cat, which doesn't have much difference since i've all the stuff in grave. then he synchro for gatom and released itself to drop my last hand, sangan. then he used ddb to release itself too. -_- which i can't understand y he release ddb. later he s.summon some and finished me off.
3: drew all GK and material, but manage to hang on. trap dust shoot and saw the hand, so play around with it although he allure and set the 2 cards he drew, and he has gorz too. so slowly played... forced 2x icarus. i used crush card to get rid of his gorz in hand, and he left with whirlwind and book of moon. i've a summon priest and brain wash, just wait for my avarice. i left around 1/4 of deck left, and i've not used 1 yet. end up he drew pot of avarice after crush card effect and used. lol.. i was quite shocked to see that card, and he pot before i do!! i really drew my pot next turn and won.

conclusion: he made some mistakes, and i think i play fine.

game 3: [OXX] AKB (sebastian)
1: i golden box for priest while he golden box for cat. he used arcanite mag and left a token on it with nothin else on field. i don't want to wait next turn, since he'll take back his cat. so i used that priest i searched and go for 2x x-saber and brain wash the arcanite mag. i calculated, if there's no gorz, it's just nice to otk. if he does have gorz, my x-saber can drop 1x, and arcanite to kill gorz. end up i took the 1st round since he has no gorz.
2: he natural beast opening with book of moon. i used gale and he book of moon his natural beast. then i set trap dust and end with 4 magic in hand. later he synchro his gale and critter for brionac and search cat. i go for trap dust shoot, and i see gorz, cat, cyber dragon and pot of avarice. i chose gorz as i bet on my next draw for priest which is the only card which can save me. i drew 1 more magic, and lost the round.
3: typical akb mirror, both camp at each other and slowly mill the damage. we got to looked at each others' hand through card effect, and he made some obvious mistakes. as time is running out, he summon DAD and revive my x-saber then destroy my GK on field, with DAD attack 1st and i used gorz. (i've 3 dark in grave, and DAD, guard, priest, gorz in hand. no point let x-saber hit which surely end up can't DAD either) he used DAD to destroy gorz and token. i thought i can win by drawing a magic since i've mainly drew monster for the whole round with his HP at 2500 and mine at 2100. end up i drew sangan, and lost the match.

conclusion: nothing much to talk about, but is helpless to lost the 3rd round with opponent making mistakes.

in short, just beware of 異次元からの埋葬 abuse!!!

since the deck will be mainly to kill synchro cat, and i'm using it for sure.
i don't know if it's a good idea to side against burial from a different dimension abuse, because it's likely that people will keep their deck for the final, although some adjustments will be done for sure. when i side shadow-imprisoning mirror in qualifier, i gave up on other tech cards. however, when i don't meet burial from a different dimension abuse decks, it gave me little choice of what should i side for some other decks.

may adjust main deck as well, since it's tuned to be more versatile. but may wanna gamble to main some cards for mirror, and basically the deck is good against whirlwind BF by default.
